1. Lead, identify and analyze the part defects against receiving rejection report from manufacturing plant.

2. Plan and visit the vendors against receiving rejection report.

3. Lead corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) activity for the processes at vendor end through root cause analyses (RCAs).

4. Pre-delivery inspection of critical supplies or supplies after improvement of production processes.

5. Lead and develop parts inspection standards (PIS) for new part development and dual sourcing cases.

6. Lead part audit activity against part inspection standards (PIS).

7. Support vendors for making checking fixtures and gauges according to drawing specifications and CNH standards.

8. Evaluate the performance of vendors through vendor performance report (VPR).

1. Train the trainees as per CBT (competency-based training) on Conventional machines for e.g. Lathe, Milling, Shaper, Surface, Cylindrical Tool & Cutter Grinder etc.

2. Responsible for developing student’s skills, knowledge and attitudes commensurate to the goals of the programmed and effectively using tools and equipments.

3. Deliver theoretical lectures and practical sessions on following subjects for e.g.  Health & Safety, Fastening & joining, Hand & Machine Tool, Math’s & Drawing, Measuring & Marking-out, Milling/Turning/Grinding.

4. Developing of theoretical and practical sessions TLM (Teaching Learning Material) lesson plans & work instruction sheets as per City & guilds/NAVTTC guidelines.

5. Maintain and supervise workshop matters for the smooth & effective operations.

6. Prepare & asses theory and practical exams in order to measure progress and to evaluate training effectiveness and trainees learning.

7. Maintain all required forms such as attendance, grade reports, exam reports, students advising forms and all other assigned educational matters.

8. To conduct OJT programs for industrial learning with SRO and also conduct additional helpful programs if requested such as Basics of Lean manufacturing,Kaizen, 5S.

Unitary & Applied Plant (Applied Units Assembly Line):

1.  Improvement of production process towards the assigned manufacturing processes in order to ensure process improvement and enhancement. Such as: Efficiency, Overall Resource Utilization, Man Hours / Million CoGP.

2.  Supervise the achievement of production targets according to CoGP & No. of units and also meet the delivery time of the units to the customer.

3.  Manage the assigned production team in the delivery of quality in fabrication/assembly of the A/C parts / components / unit in order to ensure the compliance and passing of the unit with internal and external customer quality standards.

4.  Supervise the effective planning and utilization of resources.

5.  Provide production & relevant reports to management on a daily & periodic basis.

6.  Lead, motivate and educate the people regarding lean practices such as 5S, Kaizen,Muda etc.

7.  Review budgets Vs targets, plan overtime & maintaining staff strengths.

8.  ERP monitoring as new order intake, review BOMs, forecast weekly material requirement, NCN reports and new design deviations from engineering design.

9.  Monitor & ensure safety SOP’s & PPE’s are maintained & communicate to employee.

10.  Organize weekly tool box meeting with recommended topic from LPD (Loss Prevention Department) & also Assembly Point Coordinator in EAP drill.

Projects in Zamil Air Conditioners.

1.  Leading the DFT (Demand Flow Technology) PROJECT as a DFT LEADER in Applied products.

2.  Leading the COST REDUCTION PROJECT as a DEPARTMENT LEADER in Applied products.

Shocks & Struts Plant (Piston Rod Line & Assembly):

1.  Follow production schedule & meet KANBAN.

2.  Prepare daily and monthly production and performance reports.

3.  Ensure quality management through process audits, control charts, check sheets and data management.

4.  Ensure health and safety through inspection check list for PPEs, electrical safety, fire safety,machinery safety and production area safety.

5.  Ensure 5S, Kaizen and lean manufacturing practices.

6.  Plan, analyze,prioritize, coordinate, and facilitate within Operations.

7.  Monitor boards and process monitoring sheets as defined in the SOPs.

8.  Check attendance and overtime report.

9.  Ensure department performance against the defined KPIs.

10.   Stop & hold the relevant functional activity& inform the management regarding subsequent corrective & preventive action.
