Qualification:

Education and Experience

• High school Diploma
• Training and appropriate certificate
• Demonstrated ability of oral and written
• 7+ years experience in similar field

Role & Responsibilities

the position of driller is an operational role. a driller has an integral role to ensure that the drill rigs, machinery, equipment and other resources are effectively operated.

Duties

• Drilling in soil formation and carry out SPT test and split barrel sampling of non cohesive soils including disturbed and undisturbed sampling
• Drilling in different type of rock formation (Soft/hard rock coring) rotary core drilling teachnique with sampling by suing single/double tube core barrels.
• installation of standpipe pedometers for groundwater monitoring
• carry out basic maintenance on equipment as required
• lead the drilling team
• Ensure safe operation of rig and equipment
